Meow Ops Privacy Policy
Summary
- Meow Ops does not collect personal data. The game does not send any information about you to us or to anyone else.
- No account is needed. The game has no sign-in, ads, analytics or tracking, and contains no third-party software development kits (SDKs) for any of these.
- Your game progress is stored only on your own device.
- Apple takes the payment for in-app purchases; we never see your payment details.
Scope
This policy covers the iPhone and iPad version of Meow Ops, developed by Bayraktar Robotik Ltd. Şti. ("we"). Our company details and address are on the imprint page.
Information stored on your device
As you play, the game stores the following only on your device, in the app's own folder:
- Game progress: unlocked chapters and missions, gold, medals and medal fragments, the cats' ranks, weapons, upgrades and skills.
- Settings: difficulty, driving controls and tilt settings, minimap and sound volume.
- Purchase transaction numbers: the transaction number Apple assigns to each purchase. It is kept only so that the same purchase never adds its gold twice; it does not contain your name, your Apple Account or your payment details.
This information is kept in a save file and in the backup and temporary copies that protect the save from corruption; if a save ever cannot be read, it is also kept aside as a separate copy. These files never leave your device; we cannot see or access them.
The game engine also keeps technical cache files (compiled shaders) in the same folder so that graphics load faster; they contain no information about you.
If you back up your iPhone or iPad to iCloud or to a computer, iOS may include these files with the rest of your app data. Those backups are in your Apple Account or on your computer; they never reach us.
In-app purchases
Meow Ops offers optional gold packs. Purchases are made through Apple's App Store and Apple processes the payment. We do not see or receive your name, email address, Apple Account or payment details.
To show prices and complete a purchase, the game uses the iOS purchase system (StoreKit) through an open-source plug-in that calls it; the plug-in itself does not connect to any server. This communication takes place between your device and Apple and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. When a purchase completes, the plug-in passes Apple's transaction record for that purchase to the game as it is; the record may also contain other details such as the price, currency, storefront country and dates. From this record the game uses only which pack was bought, how many, and the transaction number, and it keeps only the transaction number, on your device as described above; the rest of the record is not stored and is not sent anywhere. We have no server; purchases are not verified or recorded on our side.
Information we do not collect
The game does not use your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, advertising identifier or device identifier. It does not collect usage statistics, crash reports or diagnostics, and it does not track you across apps or websites. If you choose tilt steering, the device's motion sensor is used only to steer the vehicle at that moment; the readings are not stored or sent.
Information Apple may share with us
As the operator of the App Store, Apple reports aggregated download, sales and in-app purchase figures for the game to us. These reports cover all users, do not depend on any setting on your device and do not identify individuals.
Separately, if you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may also provide us with crash reports and aggregated usage statistics for the game (for example, session and active-device counts). Apple collects this information and does not give it to us in a form that identifies you. You can turn this second kind of sharing off in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.
Children
Meow Ops is rated 13+ on the App Store and is not in the Kids category. Because the game collects no personal data from anyone, it collects none from children. Parents can turn off in-app purchases in Screen Time on iPhone or iPad: Apple's guide.
Deleting your data
To delete everything the game stores on your device, delete Meow Ops from the device. We hold no game data about you, so there is nothing to delete on our side.
The in-game YENİ OYUN (new game) option resets your progress and gold (including purchased gold). The purchase transaction numbers stay on the device so that the same purchase never adds gold again; to remove them too, delete the game.
If you email us
When you write to us for support, we use your email address and message only to reply to you and solve your problem. We do not share or sell this information and we do not keep it longer than necessary. To exercise your rights under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), such as access, correction or deletion, or to ask us to delete our correspondence, write to the same address.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will publish the updated text on this page and update the effective date. If a new feature that collects data or works online (for example ads or online play) is ever added to the game, this policy will be updated before that version is released.
